THREAD: World War III has already begun. They simply are not calling it such yet. A thread on the flashpoints around the world that clearly define these early stages of a worldwide conflict.

It isn’t just Russia who is possibly getting in on the pie cutting of Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, & perhaps even Slovakia have claims in the east of the country. As the largest war in Europe since WWII is fought the nations of the world have been forced to pick sides.
The economic battle (not just against Russia) is one of the major globalizing factors of this War. To follow Russia/Ukraine more closely follow @baronichitas
Many countries have been threatened or insulted by the USA/UK bloc due to unwillingness to sanction or condemn Russia
As economic powerhouses like India & China refuse to help isolate Russia, other formerly neutral states like Sweden & Finland have been recruited into NATO which now openly calls Russia a direct threat. This comes with the recent rejection of neutrality by Turkey...
…who now supports Sweden & Finland joining NATO and thus would support them along with the rest of the bloc against Russia. Turkey now has support for its growing & approaching military incursions into Syria which Russian officials have said they will openly resist.
Syria has been a site for proxy conflict between Russia & Turkey as well as Iran vs US as well as Israel vs Iran. Russia & Iran as well as China support Syria President Bashar al-Assad. Russia even recognizes the Israel occupied Golan heights as Syrian, something putting them at odds with Israel.
Turkey & Russia are two of the most important players in this boiling conflict. They clash through proxies in war torn Libya & Russia is currently keeping peace between Azerbaijan & Armenia where Turkey openly supported Azerbaijan annexing parts of historic Christian Armenia.
Regarding Africa, Russia has supported multiple coups & governments opposed to French French influence in former West Africa. Mali is currently experiencing fighting as a pro Russia junta remains in power, & the recent coup in Burkina Faso has their junta leaning towards Russia.
To return to the immediate periphery of Russia/Ukraine we see how Lithuania is moving forward (even against the wishes of major EU players) with its blockade and interference with shipments to the Kaliningrad Oblast, directly going against multiple international treaties.
Romania & Moldova are also in the direct periphery as Russia seems likely to connect to its bases in Transnistria (breakaway region of Moldova). I have a whole article about this HERE.
All of these situations are rapidly shifting & changing day by day but we clearly see a picture of global conflicts playing themselves out along very similar political/strategic lines. A hot war around eastern Europe/Mediterranean & the Caucuses then playing out across…
…effectively every continent (haven’t even scratched the surface of China 🇨🇳 & the Pacific/Oceania Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Island, Vietnam etc.) with varying degrees of military violence…can accurately be described as a world war. Were people calling it WWII during the Anschluss? Of course not.
Another aspect of course (and this has been discussed as much if not more by Met. Neophytos & other Saints) will be the global food, fuel, & resource crisis as supply chains suffer & collapse. India has banned wheat exports and other nations with food surplus…
…like Russia (specifically) has been cut off from markets and could benefit from maintaining its own local surplus. USA, UK, and other nations reliant on global supply chains and inconceivably loyal to the current sanctions regime will suffer fuel & food shortages.
It is important to remember that Met. Neophytos accurately foretold the worldwide lockdowns & pandemic & is citing prophecies from Saints who spoke in the 20th century. Most of his recent predictions (even the translations) about food & war were well before the Russia/Ukraine war began.
I have no time frame here & make no particular predictions for the course of these conflicts besides a general direction towards a Russia/Turkey clash with the involvement of larger power blocs. Remember that the words of Saints in these matters are to bring us towards repentance.
I will likely update this thread in the future as other things unfold & the arc of history bends towards the Saints but for now I will discuss the place of Cyprus in the current fold & get back to this as things transpire.
Met. Neophytos says Cyprus will be spared military fighting as Turkey will need its troops elsewhere (against Russia). The shortages & collapse will still be a problem for Cypriots but the task at hand for them is to convert the settlers in the North to Orthodoxy.
The Cypriot Church is divided on the question of supporting the schismatic “church” in Ukraine but the current Patriarch (supporter of the schismatics) is aging and the likely successors resoundingly reject this stance. This likely marks a key point in St. Porphyrios…
…prophecies regarding a new crew coming to right “the ship” that is the Church.
Ultimately (and we are already seeing this) every country will be forced to reckon with their place in the new multipolar world & decide how they will deal with shortages & political turmoil. Prepare in body & soul. Updates should come as they occur. END (for now).
